Udalguri District Executive Magistrate Dilip Kr. Das declares dry day from 5 pm of April 21 to 5 pm of April 23

KALAIGAON: Dilip Kr. Das, District Executive Magistrate of Udalguri district, has declared dry day under section 135 of the Representation of the People Act, 1981 and Rule 326(a) of Assam Excise, 2016. Sale of liquor in these areas of Udalguri district bordering the district of Baksa will be prohibited from 5 pm of April 21 to 5 pm of April 23. Possession, sale, consumption and storage of liquor are strictly prohibited during the mentioned period. Any violation will be strictly dealt under appropriate provisions of Assam Excise Rule.
