TANGLA: In a unique symbol of tolerance, communal harmony and brotherhood, the residents of Garuajhar in Udalguri along the Indo-Bhutan border have set an example of how to do away with religious differences.

A unique donation box made by Garuajhar Bebashai Santha has become the talk of the town and has been spreading the message of secularism. The donation box has the imprints of Lord Shiva on one side reading Om Namah Shivay and a picture of Mecca reading Rahe-Lillah (donate in the name of god) on the other side.

The place is known for peaceful harmony among the people, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion, since years.
