Udalguri to host Boro Sahitya Sabha conference

KALAIGAON, Jan 1: The Udalguri  Baro Xahitya Xabha is going to hold its 47th conference along with Udalguri Baro Harimo Afad  with a two-day long programme in the premise of Mahiranga Bhavan at Khairabari from January 10.

The 45th conference of Khairabari Baro Xahitya Xabha will be also observed in this same day.  The programme will be started on the first day with iuguration of main gate. After that lamp lighting, literary competition and a semir will be held. Ashini Bargayary, Reader of Badoland University and Uttam Kalita, Professor of Khairabari College will take part in the semir as the teacher.  

The second day of this conference will start with flag hoisting by Nikkanta Gayari, president of Udalguri Baro Xahitya Xabha. A souvenir titled ‘Mahiranga Phautichali’ will be released by BTC chief Hagrama Mahilarya. Kamalakanta Muchahary, secretary of Baro Xahitya Xabha will take part in this programme as a chief guest.
