According to him, in the upcoming elections the HSPDP will be finished in the State.
Speaking on the newly floated People Democratic Party, he said, “In Mawlai more than 5000 supporters have joined the party in recent week but now many of them are leaving the party and many of the MDCs are also on the verge of removing themselves from the party because they have found there is no interl democracy in the party.” He said the political wind in Khasi-Jaintia hills is blowing in favor of NPP as around 9 MLAs will soon join the party.
