ULFA linkman apprehended

Golaghat, Feb 3: Acting on a tip-off, a team of Golaghat police led by Additiol SP Dhrubo Bora on Friday apprehended a linkman of the banned ULFA at Sarupathar in Golaghat. The linkman has been identified as Bubul Das alias Bubul Barman. According to police sources, the ULFA had appointed some persons for kidpping and extortion. Today, the apprehended linkman went in a Swift Dzire vehicle bearing number AS 05 G 7604 to abduct a man. The police got the information and apprehended him on the way. Police investigation is on.
