Uncle allegedly kills nephew at Khamukh

GAURISAGAR, January 20: Ranjan Gogoi of Khamukh Tipomia Village under Gaurisagar Police station in Sivasagar district was allegedly killed by his uncle Dharmeswar Gogoi with a spade on Tuesday night.
Pinki Gogoi, wife of Ranjan Gogoi, lodged an FIR under Gaurisagar Police station against Dharmeswar Gogoi and his son Robin Gogoi. Based on the FIR, a police team led by Mukut Ali, Officer in-Charge Gaurisagar Police station bbed the culprit on Tuesday night and sent him to jail today. A case 08/16 has been registered under IPC 320/34.Family dispute is the cause behind the murder, police sources said.
