Under The Patronage of Nrityalaya Demow, Workshop on Acting in Xattriya and Kathak Dance Concludes in Demow, Assam

DEMOW, July 29: Under the patronage of Nrityalaya Demow, a workshop on acting in Xattriya and Kathak dance was organized from July 17 t o July 26 in Demow. The closing ceremony of Abhinaya (acting) in Xattriya and Kathak dance was organized in Demow Multi-Purpose Building on Thursday evening.

The programme started with ceremonial lamp lighting by Jatin Goswami, Padmashree winner in Xattriya dance. Jatin Goswami was felicitated with a seleng chadar by the members of Nrityalaya Demow and students who participated in the workshop. After that the students performed Xattriya and Kathak dance in the closing ceremony. Pubali Thengal Gogoi, Principal of Nrityalaya Demow, organized the entire programme. After the end of the programme, the students who participated in the workshop were given certificates.
