TINSUKIA, April 10: A murder accused lodged in the high-security Tinsukia District Jail here allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of a toilet inside the jail last night. Moi Chetia (22) of Tekerigaon under Pengeri police station was arrested by the police for allegedly murdering his wife. A jail official said, "We suspect that the deceased was under depression." A case of accidental death has been registered with Tinsukia police station. The police have sent the body for postmortem.
