Unidentified body recovered - 9 Apr, 2018

Silchar, April 8: An unidentified dead body of a man presumably in his forties has been recovered from Barak river in Tolengram situated under Lakhipur police station on Sunday morning. Upon receiving the information, magistrate Pritam Raja Sharma, ASIs Fariz Uddin Laskar and P J Singh rushed to the spot. It was found that all the teeth of the man were broken as if somebody had knocked them out. The dead body has been sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
