University Grants Commission directive to all Northeast universities

Dibrugarh: On the request of the only member of UGC from the Northeast and Principal of Tengakhat College, Dr. Kiran Hazarika, UGC has directed all the universities to set up chairs in the name of Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardev and Lakshminath Bezbaruah respectively.
