UNLF owns up to bomb attack

IMPHAL, March 20: The proscribed underground organisation, the United tiol Liberation Front, has formally claimed responsibility for the bomb blast in the house of T. Dilipkumar,  vice president of the the board of directors of the Imphal Urbam Coopeative Bank on March 16.

It may be recalled that the UNLF had asked the members of the board of directors to resign. When the first warning was ignored the outfit issued a last warning. The outfit had accused the board of directors of cronyism. Their close family members were apppointed in the bank despite objections from the outfit. When the last warning setting the deadline on December 3, 2014 was ignored it was announced that they would be given drastic punishment. Earlier the house of T. Dilipkumr, the president of the board of directors was attacked with a bomb blast.
