UPP forms sub-committees for ensuing Assembly polls

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 13:  The United People’s Party (UPP) formed three committees for the assembly legislative elections at its Central Working Committee meeting held at Mushalpur, Bagsa recently. This was informed by the general secretary of the UPP,Prodeep Kr.Daimary.

He said that the newly-formed committees were- chief election in-charge of the UPP and his team, manifesto drafting committee and Election Steering Committee involving the public. The chief election in-charge of UPP is-Prodeep Kumar Daimary, general  secretary, UPP and members of the team are Sujit Basumatary, Sushil Das, Satyaban Mandal, Md. Hanif Ali, Robindra Mushahary, Rishiram Pokhrel, Md. Eusub Ali.

The Manifesto Drafting Committee was formed with Rwn Gwra rzary, MCLA, as chairman gen Boro as convener and members are Satyaban Mandal and Pratibha Brahma. Meanwhile the Election Steering Committee has been formed with-Tijen Basumatary, former MLA as president, Suresh Brahma, Nirmal Brahma, MCLA, Anip Basumatary, MCLA, Arun Roy, Ranjit Kerketary, Tilotoma Patgiri, Barka Baskey as vice presidents and Bhraman Baglari as convenor while joint conveners are -Md. Hazrat Ali, Budhiram Basumatary, Anup Saha. The assistant convenors are Lekh Guragai, Biren Basumatary and publicity secretaries are Sushil Das, Rhilon Musahary and Ukil Musahary.
