USA magazine appreciates Assam entrepreneur

JOYSAGAR, Feb 17: An Assam entrepreneur born in Dhuliapara village in Sivasagar district has been highly appreciated by a USA based magazine for his achievement in food processing business recently. Hiranmay Gogoi, son of Prasan Gogoi of Dhuliapara, Sivasagar started a food processing unit with the help of the various local self help groups of Sivasagar few years ago. This unit started selling their products through on-line and by this they were able to reach the customers across the globe.  Gaonwor Kha, product processed by the Gogoi, has been able to reach the tea tables of the customers across the globe. Hiranmay and his group usually prepare delicious Assamese Pitha, Laru, Hurum, and other ethnic food items which are generally used as scks. Through on-line business there products are became favorite not merely in Assam but also in the metro cities of India and abroad. This is why the America based economy and entrepreneurship magazine in their latest issue in an article highly appreciated the attempts made by educated youths like Hiranmay and his friends. The magazine also described them as young role model for other young entrepreneurs.
