Vandeweghe, Barty win doubles fil

 Miami, April 2: American Coco Vandeweghe and Australia’s Ashleigh Barty won the women’s doubles fil in the Miami Open, downing the Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova and Kateri Siniakova. In a match that ended in just 62 minutes on Sunday, Vandeweghe and Barty crushed the Czechs 6-2, 6-1 in the last match of the tourney on Key Biscayne, the very last time it will be held at Crandon Park before moving to the Hard Rock Stadium in north Miami. The Czechs had been seeded sixth in the series, but the winning pair maged to get 64 percent of their first serves in play versus just 41 percent for their rivals. IANS
