Vehicle lifters arrested

HOJAI, April 29: Three vehicle lifters were arrested at Lanka by the Lanka police in gaon district on Tuesday. The three have been identified as Ishard Ali (18) of Lanka Shillong Road, Pawan iding (23) of Bordolong and Raju Ahmed (19) of Lanka Shillong Road. A Yamaha motorcycle (AS-01MB 5826) was recovered from their possession. As per information, the recovered bike was stolen from Hojai Govind Pally on April 12. A case (242/15) was registered under Hojai Police station. The vehicle lifters had changed the origil number plate ( AS-01 EP 2775).
