Vehicle seized at Betberi, Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR, July 18: The Sivasagar Traffic Police seized one Alto car (AS-01-AK-8154) from Sukan Pukhuri area near Betberi of Sivasagar on Tuesday night. As per reports, this car was involved in a road accident on the night of July 16 near Ghilaguri Petrol Pump in which one youth died and two others received serious injuries. The owner and the driver of the car have allegedly gone into hiding after the accident. Sivasagar Traffic Police were able to seize the car on Tuesday night. A case has already been registered in connection with the road mishap in Sivasagar Sadar PS.
