VHP training camp in Agartala

Agartala, June 12: The Viswa Hindu Parishad has organized a ten-day training camp at Seva Dham, a training facility of the organization at Champamura in Khayarpur, which will culminate on Wednesday.

The camp started on June 3.

Secretary of the VHP South-East pranta, Prof Swapan Sukla Baidya, Assistant secretary of the VHP central committee, Ananda Prakash Goyal, among others will remain present during the concluding programme.

Purna Chandra Mondal, Organizational secretary for South-East pranta, in a press conference said 145 portfolio holders of the VHP from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and other States have participated in the training camp.

Mondol said peace can be ensured only if the all the Hindus are united. He said the VHP are never against any other religions.
