Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meeting held in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR, June 14: A meeting of the District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee (VMC) was held at the Sukafa Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Sivasagar on Monday with Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency MP Kamakhya Prasad Tassa in the chair. Attending the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal, after welcoming the gathering, forwarded a brief speech on the committee’s preceding year’s performance.  The meeting then reviewed the progress of the various developments projects and schemes related to agriculture, irrigation, fishery, health, education and forest. The meeting was attended by MLAs of both Sivasagar and Charaideo districts and officers of various departments and members of the committee.
