Villagers repair road in Dhania village

Boko, February 8: The villagers of Dhania village of Chayygaon LAC, frustrated with the deplorable condition of the connecting road from their village to Bamunigaon despite repeated appeals to MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed, decided to repair the road themselves. On Monday, more than 1,000 villagers came out to voluntarily repair the road. Bogai Raja (king) Bhuban Singh Rabha alleged, “MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed laid the foundation stone of this road but after many years this road has not been repaired. The people ready to give a fitting reply to the MLA in the forthcoming elections.”
