VKV Nalbari shines in CBSE examination

GUWAHATI, June 2: The students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Nalbari who appeared in the CBSE class 10 board examination this year have left no stone unturned to bring laurels to the campus as 21 students have secured 90% and above out of the total 83 appeared candidates.

Standing taller in the distinguished list of merit, Gitartha Goutam and Aryan Paharia have jointly secured 95%. Coming quite closer to the landmark, Pritam Deka stood second highest in the campus by securing 94.8%. On the other hand, Kaushal B. Deka scored 94.6% followed by Kaushik Sharma and Raktim Ranjan Das both securing 94.4%.

The campus is visibly turned into a centre of attraction with as many as 56 students scoring 70% and above. A total of 71 students have secured 60% and above which is a tremendous achievement for a CBSE institution.

The entire teaching staffs including the principal have expressed pleasure as a good number of students have scored cent percent marks in many subjects. Gitartha Goutam, who is aspiring to become a medical practitioner, has secured 100 marks in Science. Pritam Deka, Kaushik Sharma, Mohit Jain, Hrishikesh Barman, Kristi Singhania and Mridumoloy Sharma have scored 100 in Foundation in Information Technology [FIT]. Moreover, Kaushal B. Deka, Kaushik Sharma, Raktim Ranjan Das, Trina Choudhury and Upasana Dutta have scored 99 in Social Science.

Meanwhile, the principal and teachers of the school expressed their heartiest gratitude to all the parents and guardians of the school, the well-wishers and notably the children of the school for their endless faith on the well being of the school.
