VM Trophy: Assam struggling against Tripura

GUWAHATI: Assam is in the back foot against Tripura in the VM trophy match at the ACA stadium, Barsapara here today.

In reply to Assam first innings total 116 Tripura, today bowled out 314 runs in their first innings.

Anand Bhowmik (104, 4X13, 6X1) scored a century while Sahil Sultan (64, 4X9)) and Akash Ahmed (42, 4X8) also contributed a good score on the board. Reshabh Dipok (3-71) picked up the most number of wickets in Tripura’s first innings.
