War of words between Rokibul Hussain, Jitu Goswami continues

From a Correspondent

GAON (HAIBORGAON), June 29:  “BJP leader Jitu Goswami who lost Samaguri constituency in the recent assembly election, works as a judge in the constituency and has told the local media that he will send me to jail after a couple of months,” said former DRDA minister and present MLA of Samaguri, Rokibul Hussain, while addressing another press conference on Wednesday morning after Tuesday’s press conference held at the same venue -gaon Rajiv Bhavan.

Reacting to the news published in the media in which Jitu Goswami strongly remarked that after a couple of months Rokibul Hussain would be sent to jail for anomalies in the panchayat level in Samaguri during his 15-year long tenure, Hussain alleged that Goswami  was a loan defaulter like Vijay Mallya.  “Goswami instructs some governmental officers or employees to visit him regularly and his motive is nothing but to find out ways to refund his bank dues only,” Hussain alleged further.

On the other hand, BJP leader Jitu Goswami in a telephonic interaction with this correspondent ascertained that Rokibul Hussain must go to jail after a couple of months for his alleged misdeeds in Samaguri and said that whatever Hussain said against him in the press conference on Wednesday was completely baseless. He further stated that the advertisement which Hussain had displayed in the press conference about he being a loan defaulter was nothing because the bank concerned had already taken the mortgaged land and by selling those land, the bank had already recovered the dues that he had to pay to the bank.
