Watch Viral Video: Woman confronted for commenting on ‘Short Dress’ at Mall in New Delhi

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a video where a middle-aged woman was seen confronted by a group of girls in Delhi over a rape comment she made has gone viral on social media. However, the video shows that regressive comments weren't just made by the middle-aged woman in front of the camera.

As per a Facebook video which went viral, a bystander said that the middle-aged woman should be raped in the clothes that she was wearing. It was not sure whether the bystander's comment was made sarcastically to mimic the middle-aged woman's original statement - where she purportedly shamed some girls for wearing short dresses and told them they should be raped - or with some other intent.

"Bahar beizzati karo iska, inn kapdo mein rape karo iska (Insult her outside, rape her in these clothes)," a bystander can be heard saying in the background.

The video shared by a Delhi woman showed a group of young women confronting an older woman who purportedly shamed them for wearing short dresses and told them they should be raped.

The woman, who shared the video on social media, wrote, "So my friends and I were at a restaurant getting some snacks when I got told I should be ashamed of wearing a short length dress."

She claimed that she and her friends decided to confront the woman who made the comment. And that is when the older woman told them: "They deserved to get raped."

The bystander went on to body shame the middle-aged woman saying, "Is she forcing you to wear a bikini?... She has a body to flaunt...you don't have a body to flaunt."

"Aise logon ko kapda mein rape karo," the bystander can be heard saying.

When the middle-aged woman tells the girls' parents to control them, one of the girls is heard saying that the middle-aged woman's clothing was very tight and in a sarcastic tone said she felt scared for her.

Then the middle-aged woman tells the girls' parents to control them. After this, one of the girls says, "Aunty aapka kurta bada tight hain."

The bystander's daughter took to Facebook to tell viewers of the video to excuse her mother's language.

"Excuse my mother's language, she was as you can clearly see sickened by this woman and her thoughts," the girl's Facebook post states.
