Weaving sets distributed

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 24: The Diocese of Believers’ Church distributed some income generating tools and livestock as part of their community development program in Gossaigaon recently. Some 200 different villages from Gosaigaon sub division have been benefited with 50 weaving cloth sley (includes shuttle, Sarka, bobin and ras), 200 pigs, 150 goats and 25 cows.

Attending the programme, Wilburn S Daimary, the Sub Divisiol Officer of Gosiagaon said, “I have witnessed the Believers’ Church doing the best humanitarian work on many spheres of society’s need, such as empowering women and adult with literacy project, free health care training, providing pure water facility and in the areas of aiding the poor to establish themselves by providing income generating tools and livestock. We assure our good will assistance to the church”.

At the distribution programme, Rev Fr. Ajay Tulsiary, the Vicar General of the Diocese has said, “We must love our neighbour as much as we love ourselves. If this ideology can be translated practically by all then poverty alleviation is very easy. We do this with this intent and only seek well of someone’s live and family”.
