London, May 6: West Ham United head coach Slaven Bilic on Friday revealed that goalkeeper Adrian could miss the fil three games of the English Premier League (EPL) football season due to a calf injury.

The 29-year-old Adrian suffered the calf injury during the 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

West Ham are sixth in the standings and they host 13th placed Swansea City on Saturday. West Ham will also meet Manchester United on Tuesday and Stoke City on May 15.

“We have one player injured, and that’s Adrian. He felt his calf after the West Brom game and he reported it the day after,” Bilic told his club’s website whufc.com.

“Unfortutely he will be out of the Swansea game, and probably miss the last two games as well.

“Maybe he will be okay, you never know, but that’s the situation — he’s the only one injured.”

However, the coach has full faith in Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph, who will take Adrian’s role.

“We’ve got a great deputy. Whenever we’ve needed him — at the beginning of the season when Adrian had a red card and in the FA Cup — he’s stepped in and been brilliant,” Bilic said.

“He was one of the biggest reasons we went quite far in the FA Cup. He was great at Man United away, very good at home against them, brilliant against Liverpool home and away. We are happy to have him, he’s a great goalkeeper basically.” IANS
