West Siang DC finalizes schemes under SIDF, Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: The District Level Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship West Siang Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom where he finalized various schemes submitted by local MLA and public under SIDF and Non BADP for the district at his office chamber on Friday.

All proposed schemes were thoroughly examined and finalized with slight modifications wherever necessary. Sode Potom asked District Planning Officer (DPO) to make available copies of the schemes to all members and urged the executing agencies to tie up with the concerned legislatures on all technical issues on certain schemes.

He also asked all the heads to attend all important meeting along with field officers to be held shortly on line monitoring and geo tagging training. DPO Henge Riba meanwhile outlined the broad objective, guidelines and various schemes on roads, flood protections, rural link roads, electrifications, CC Steps and other infrastructures developments in various parts of the district to the tune of Rs. 10 crore each for Aalo East, Aalo West, Liromoba and Mechuka for the year 2018-2019.

All District Level Committee also took part in the meeting to share their problems and fruitful opinions on various issues.
