West Siang NGO Mother’s Vision to cover schools, colleges

Itanagar: The Mother’s Vision, a West Siang district-based NGO struggling for an addiction-free society, in its effort to get first-hand input on drugs & substance abuses, on Thursday reached its targeted third venue at Kendriya Vidyalaya Aalo. All school and colleges in the district are on the line to be covered under its mission for a drug-free society, an official release informed here. Resource person Kennedy Bagra being himself a recovering addicts, in his address said that the first thing that dissolves in addiction is self-respect and dignity, Chairperson of the NGO Jumde Yomgam Gamlin highlighted about expectation a mother hold towards their children that die due to addiction when children fall into the pit of drug abuse, the release added.
