Wild elephants on rampage in Karbi Anglong

Kheroni, Dec 23: Under Donkamukam Circle, a herd of wild  elephants destroyed eight houses at Jirim Borholi of Hawaipur mauza in west Karbi Anglong district recently. Around 9 pm on Monday night,  a herd of 8-10 wild elephants enter the village of Jirim Borholi. As they entered the village, they attacked a villager med Lal Bahadur Lama and took out rice and other  edible commodities from the house. Nearly seven houses were serially destroyed belonging to Gopal Lama, Man Bahadur Lama, B.Timung, Bikram Darji, Mahavir Goud and Babusing Timung.
