Will work for development and peace: Panery MLA

TANGLA, June 9: “I will work for development, peace and prosperity in Panery LAC. People voted BPF for development and elected me for the fourth consecutive term,” said Panery MLA Kamali Basumatari at a programme organized to celebrate her victory at her tive gachuba village of Dimakuchi on Wednesday.

She further remarked that a concrete road did not imply development. For real development, peace and progress along with educatiol and cultural progress was needed.

Attending the programme, BTC EM Jagadish Sarkar said, “BTC authority along with the State Government will keep up to their pre-poll promises and work for the development in the region.”

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Speaker of BTC, Nersn Boro said, “For development to take place, we will work with every one- ones who voted for us or against us.”

The programme was attended by representatives of various organizations who felicitated the Kamali Basumatari. The programme was also attended by former MCLA Keshab Chandra Deka, Maheswar Boro, MLA Kalaigaon LAC, Prafulla Rabha of ARSU, district AGP president Jatin Deka and BJP Women Forum president Nilima Boro.
