Woman allegedly killed for dowry in gaon

GAON, April 10: A married woman was allegedly killed by her husband for dowry at Ram Krish Path of gaon town on Thursday. According to sources, one Silpi Sarker, wife of Kousik Sarker, died under mysterious circumstances at her residence. She was admitted to gaon Gohain Nursing Home at about 3 pm. But the doctors declared her brought dead. The family of the deceased woman alleged that she was killed by her husband for dowry. The family members alleged that ever since her marriage, the husband Kousik Sarker has been demanding huge amounts of money. But Silpi and her family had been refusing to give in to his demands. gaon poice have detained Kousik. He is being interrogated.
