Woman arrested for poisoning two daughters, one dead

Agartala, January 19 : Police arrested a middle aged housewife Sitarani Debbarma for poisoning her two daughters. Siria(4), one of the daughters died on way to hospital and the other, Merry (11) is in a serious condition. The incident happened at Belbari area under Radhapur police station.

After prelimiry investigation police said Sitarani prepared a cup of tea and poured poison in it which two of her daughters shared. Gautam Debbarma, husband of Sitarani told police that her main intention was to kill him as they were not in good terms.
