Tamulpur, April 8: A woman died in a road mishap on Sunday at Bogajuli under Kumarikata police outpost in the district of Baksa. The deceased woman was identified as Manju Basumatary of Amlaiguri village. The woman was returning home on a bicycle from Kumarikata weekly market. When she reached Bogajuli, an unidentified vehicle hit her from behind and drove away. Later, some local people found Manju lying dead along 127 (D) Rangia-Bhutan intertiol link road and informed the Kumarikata police. Mun Pasoni, in-charge of Kumarikata police outpost, with a police team  rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Investigation is going on.
