BILASIPARA, April 29: A body was recovered on Saturday in Islamari village under Salkocha Police Station in Dhubri district. The deceased was identified as Manisha Barman of Islamari village. She was around 44 years of age. Her husband Nrigen Barman had expired few years ago and the woman was passing her days in great hardship with her children. It is suspected that the widow was raped and murdered on Friday night. Salkocha Police arrested one Luken Barman (45) of the same village on the basis of suspicion and interrogation is going on.
