DEMOW, April 25: A woman suffered burn injuries in a fire mishap on Friday night at Demow Milan gar under Demow Police Station. Debari Kurmi (45), wife of rayan Kurmi, and mother of five children, was cooking when she caught fire and suffered 70 per cent burn injuries. She was taken to Demow Adarsha Hospital where, after primary treatment, she was referred to Dibrugarh.
