Women rights body seeks action against culprits

ITAGAR, Aug 2: While expressing grave concern over the leak of photographs of the 15 girls who were apprehended in connection to alleged sex racket, the Aruchal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and the Aruchal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) have appealed the police as well as the administration to b the person involved in doing the same.
In all 15 women including teegers were on July 28 last apprehended by the police for allegedly being indulged in sex work. Their photographs were later made public through various social media sites by some unidentified miscreants. The organizations have also appealed the police to arrest all the middle men who are involved in running sex rackets within the Capital Complex and at the same time called upon the deputy commissioner to seal all the hotels which are allowing such illegal activities, a press release informed.
