Workshop on debate held in Duliajan College

DULIAJAN, August 21: A day-long workshop on the subject of debate was held on Saturday at the auditorium of Duliajan College which organized by the students’ body of the college in association with the cultural organization Kala Manch. The workshop was held under the president ship of the Principal of the college, Dr.Surendra th Gogoi. Dr shmim Akhtar, Associate Professor of English department, Dibrugarh University and Dr Manprativ Baruah, Deputy Superintendent of Oil India Hospital, Duliajan attended the workshop as resource persons. They said that to achieve technique of debate, the student should have vast knowledge on subject matter, placement, placement of language, pronunciation and logistic. Twenty students participated in the workshop.
