Workshop on developing humane teacher professiols held

Hojai, April 30: A two-day workshop on ‘Developing Humane Teacher Professiols’ has been organized by Ajmal Foundation, Hojai in collaboration with All India Confederation For Women Empowerment Through Education, (AICWETE), New Delhi at Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science & Technology, Hojai, starting from Saturday. “The focus of the workshop is to bring all participants on a platform for discus -sion on issues related to in-service teacher education, quality of education and developing their understanding on current pedagogical scerio and vision for future,” said Khasrul Islam, Mager, Ajmal Foundation. Dr Shabisthan Gaffar, Chairperson, AICWETE, New Delhi; Dr Nuzhat Parveen Ali, Thematic Head-Education, Tech Mahindra Limited India; Dr S Faizi, Ecologist, India, UN Consultant and Dr MRH Azad, Deputy Mager Ajmal Foundation addressed the first day of the workshop. A total of 300 teachers of Ajmal Group of Colleges participated from different parts of Assam.
