Workshop on jourlism at Tangla

TANGLA, Feb 28: A two-day workshop on jourlism concluded here today at Borengajuli Srimanta Sankardev Satra of Udalguri. The workshop was organized by Dimakuchi Press Club. The workshop focused on the topics like role of jourlists in the rural areas for effective communication, sensitive reporting by electronic media, the role of media in crisis magement etc.  Nearly 50 mediapersons from different part of the district took part in the semir. The objective of the workshop was to encourage the young generation of the district in the field of reporting and photography with advanced technology so as to eble all young boys and girls to work in the field of jourlism. The main focus areas include jourlism and press laws, issues of working jourlist. The workshop was iugurated by Kamali Basumatari, MLA Panery LAC. The workshop was also attended by Samudra Gupta Kashyap of the Indian Express as appointed speaker, Keshab Dutta jourlist of Tangla and Manoj Agasti of Asomiya Pratidin.
