HAFLONG , May 8: A one-day workshop-cum-training programmeon Maha Samparka Abjhiyan and NRC update organised by BJP’s Dima Hasao District Committee was held on Thursday at Haflong, stated a press release issued by I.P Joishi, secretary of BJP Dima Hasao Dist committee.
The programme held under the chairmanship of Sri Bir Bhadra Hagjer, district president of BJP Dima Hasao was graced by Shri Mission Ranjan Das, vice-president of Assam BJP.
The BJP District committee office bearers and executive members, elected members of NCHAC and party workers from the different parts of Dima Hasao attended the programme.
In the programme Mr. Mission Ranjan Das spoke on the political scerio of the country as well as that of Assam, besides explaining the launching of Maha Samparka Abhiyan of BJP and NRC. Mr. B.B. Hagjer also explained the objective of the programme and urged the BJP workers present in the workshop cum training to make Maha Samparka Abhiyan successful in Dima Hasao and to help the rural people irrespective of caste , creed, religion and ethnicity in the ongoing updating of NRC in the district.
