Silchar, July 6: Folkus, an art association, in collaboration with Shilpangan, an art institute, is all set to organize 3 day an interactive workshop of papier-mâché under the able guidance of Binoy Paul. Literally papier-mache means ‘chewed paper’ and it is a compound substance which consists of paper pieces or pulp, which is sometimes toughened with textiles and bound with an adhesive like glue, starch, or wallpaper paste. The workshop will begin from July 12 and will be held from 11 am to 4 pm in all the three days of the workshop. Folkus Art Gallery is at Shillongpatty in Silchar. The workshop, titled ‘Khelar Kagaz’ is limited only for 20 candidates.
