Workshop on POCSO, child labour prohibition held in Itanagar

ITANAGAR: The Minister Health Services, Rural Development and Panchayat Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Alo Libang inaugurated a one-day workshop on Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) ACT, 2012, Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Amendment Act, 2016 and other issues relating to health, trafficking , child abuse and adoption here at Banquet Hall on Thursday amidst a huge gathering of organizers, resource person, distinguished guests, officers, officials of police department and a good number of participant trainees.

Speaking as chief guest in his brief speech Libang advised all parents to take care of their children for giving proper education , health, security and safety measures for protection of rights and abuse of any kinds for the all round development of their children.

Libang appealed both the centre and state government for giving more emphasis on women empowerment so that they can promote upbringing of children and their protection of rights and privileges. The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) organized the workshop.
