Workshop on rural media

Lakhimpur, Feb 26: The press information bureau organized a workshop at North Lakhimpur press club here today on the role of media and media activities in the society. Lakhimpur DC Debeswar Malakar iugurated the workshop. The workshop focused on the topics like role of jourlists in the rural areas for effective communication, sensitive reporting by electronic media, the role of media in crisis magement etc. Nearly 150 mediapersons from different part of the district took part in the meeting.
