World Cancer Day observed in Morigaon

MORIGAON, February 4: Morigaon Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) cell under tiol Health Mission (NHM), Morigon, in association with the NGO Shankhanda Society for Development on Thursday observed World Cancer Day at the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Mukali Moncha at Dalbari in Morigaon. On the eve of the progrmme, a cancer awareness programme was organized where people gathered in large numbers. Mazibur Rahman, president, SSD, NGO and Dhrubajyoti Deka, secretary, SSD, NGO conducted the programme. Attending as the chief guest, Dr. Ruhini Borkatoki, Joint Director of Health, Morigaon explained the danger of cancer. On the other hand a free medical treatment was provided on the eve of the World Cancer Day.
