World Vitiligo Day today

GUWAHATI, June 24: On the eve of the World Vitiligo Day today, the Northeast branch of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists said that vitiligo is neither an infectious nor a contagious disease, and as such there should not be any inhibition in mingling with such patients and going for wedlock with them. Dr. Rajiv Gogoi said that, unlike leprosy, vitiligo can be treated.
