Kolkata, April 25: The upcoming informal meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will help improve bilateral economic ties and bring more Chinese investments in India over the next two years, a Chinese diplomat said here on Wednesday. “This (the meeting) is something very significant and it signifies a new era for China-India relationship...It will also help in developing economic ties between the two countries,” Chinese Consul General in Kolkata Ma Zhanwu said. He also emphasised on the principle of “acting together” for improving the bilateral relationship between two Asian giants. Modi will travel to China’s central city of Wuhan this week for an informal summit with Xi.
