Siddhartha Chetia, an employee in the office of the Deputy Commissioner (NRC Cell) was coming from office on his bike bearing registration number AS-04/D-7722, when a speeding Activa bearing registration number AS-04/M-6198 coming from the opposite direction of Post Office hit Chetia’s bike head-on. Chetia suffered serious injuries on his face and head.
