Youth arrested from Duliajan Library room

DULIAJAN, Jan 7: OIL security team on Wednesday night arrested Pranjal Borgohain from the interior room of Duliajan Public Library. He entered the room of Duliajan Public Library by breaking the back door of the library and stayed there.  According to sources, on December 16, 2015, a fire occurred on the ground floor of the library where many valuable books along with furniture was damaged. Then the library committee had ordered an inquiry and since December 17, the entry for outsiders was restricted. Two office bearers of the library entered on January 5 for an urgent work where they noticed that the back door was broken. Immediately they informed the OIL security. Since then OIL security team started investigation and patrolling there. OIL security team on Wednesday night at around 10:30 p.m. arrested Pranjal Borgohain from the room of Duliajan Public Library. Later OIL security handed over him to Duliajan police.
