Youth arrested, stolen condensed oil recovered

Duliajan, May 23:  Acting on a tip-off, the security team of Oil India Limited  launched an operation in the wee hours on Tuesday and arrested  a youth  from 32 no Oil Well located at no 2 Rangagorah village under Bhadoi out post and recovered stolen condensed oil. As per available information, security forces recovered 13 gallons  filled with condensed oil and eight empty gallons from the incident site. The apprehended youth has been identified as Babul Chetia (22), a resident of Bhadoi Barbari village. As per OIL security sources, total 260 litres of condensed oil had been recovered from the seized gallons. It is said that few others miscreants involved in the theft maged to escape.
