Youth Congress stages protest at Haflong

Haflong, Feb 6: Demanding detection and arrest of the culprits involved in the kidpping of Jibon Kemprai, elder brother of Mahendra Kemprai, president of DCC (I) Dima Hasao , the tiol Students Union of India, Mahila Congress and members of Youth Congress of Dima Hasao staged dhar in front the office of the Deputy Commissioner here on Saturday.

Later they also submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi through the Deputy Commissioner, DimaHasao wherein they have expressed concern over the kidpping of Kemprai and also failure to detect the whereabouts of Kemprai even after nine days.

Kemprai was kidpped on January 27 from Thaijuari and FIR was also lodged at the Diyungbra Police station.
