Youth dies in road mishap

Haflong, Jan 2: Gautam Das, son of Raghuth Das of Lower Haflong, died following a road accident on Tuesday at Mandardisa NH-27 near Forest Gate. A Maruti  K-10 vehicle (AS/01BW-7326) was coming from Haflong side towards Lumding and hit a bamboo-laden truck bearing no-AS-21-8826. As a result, the driver of the Maruti K10, Gautam Das was badly injured.    Immediately he was shifted to Lumding FRU and then referred to the Railway Hospital, Lumding for better treatment. Later he succumbed to his injury.
